This spacious villa suits a small family or a larger group and there is room to work, play, snooze or socialise – inside and outside.  All the communal areas of the house connect to the outdoors with deep shaded verandas and water views on one side and the pool and enclosed garden on the other side.

The private jetty attached to house gives guests direct access to the waterways of Thesen Island and a SUP and kayak are included for the enjoyment of guests.  Guests can moor their own boat or your hosts can arrange for a private luxury speed boat to collect you from the villa for a guided tour the Knysna lagoon.

Walk or cycle the island pathways to the many shops, eateries and activities of Thesen Island and the Knysna waterfront precinct, or enjoy the island facilities including squash courts, tennis courts, putting green, children’s park area and beach and bbq areas free of charge to guests.  The villa has 2 complimentary adult bicycles and there is secure storage for guests private bicycles.

The deep, shaded, wooden verandas wrap around this charming and sophisticated L-shape home. Indoor and outdoor connect throughout the space with nooks and hideaways for a quiet snooze or to gather at the table for long family brunches.

The dining lounge and bar area open to the swimming pool on one side and the veranda and lagoon waters on the other side of the house. The landscaped garden encloses a grass play area with low stone walls and sun loungers to soak up the sun poolside.
